The road thus far

It's been an interesting road thus far since I released my first album Our Place In The Distance. Between moving to Littleton, CO, releasing a new record on my own and well, being a father (in general). Balancing it all is quite the task but I wouldn't have it any other way. Life is comical sometimes in the sense that you can be stressed out to the furthest extent, but when you take a moment to think about life without all that creates that mess of chaos, suddenly it can all dissipate and you see everything moving forward instead of a loud stand still. Because after all, What the fuck is life without anything in it to keep you out of your mind? It's empty! .. Is what it is.

I released my first actual single Our place in the distance with a video that gave some perspective of my everyday life in Carlsbad, CA. Lots has changed since then. Lots has stayed the same, too. I'm still working on music like crazy everyday, always plotting the next project or album. Right now I'm searching for a band to play my tunes in Colorado. I ABSOLUTELY took for granted the amount of great musicians I grew up with in Southern California.

What made me think of this video was oddly enough my son having two ear infections at the moment. It made me think of water in my ears from the ocean.. and then I started strollin' down memory lane. Go figure. NOW GO LISTEN TO MY COVER OF DAYS OF THE PHOENIX! Haha. But really.

A quick acoustic cover of a song off an album that inspired the shit out of me. Again, this is a cover and the song belongs to AFI or Nitro or whoever. Just not me. ha
