OLD CROSS

Melodic punk| Portland

“Drawing influences from a range of melodic hardcore and pop-punk from the 90’s, they play swift, propellant and anthemic fast tunes that will remind you more than a little of Alkaline Trio’s early work and late-career Blink-182 (you know, before Tom left and they went dance-pop), with the shadowy aura of mid-period AFI. A spooky treat, just in time for Halloween!” -Mick @ New Noise Magazine

The Howlin' Roosters

Punk Rock and Roll| San Diego

Three piece punk rock and rollers The Howlin’ Roosters have established themselves as a staple in the SD/ North County scene over the last three years. I’ve been following each musical conception of Dylan Jones for over a decade now and this is by far my favorite. They can reel you in with a soft ballad one minute then all of a sudden your in the pit getting elbowed in the face by a circle of rockabilly chaos. It’s fantastic. The Roosters dropped their first LP last Summer called ‘Go To Hell’.

GFL

Street punk| Portland

I discovered GFL back in 2016 when they were just a two piece consisting of twin brothers Dylan and Evan Car. Yep. Just bass, drums and vocals. It was fucking powerful. Now with the addition of Guitarists Andrew Horwood and Charley Cliff they sound more aggressive than ever. They average what seems like 78 shows a week in and around Portland so if you’ve missed them… Well, then you’re just being lazy. Check out their new LP ‘Abandoned’ out now!

Stab In The Dark

Punk rock| Portland

These guys make rad melodic punk rock with a hint of dark elements here and there which really drew me too them. Gary Dean’s voice is reminiscent of early 90’s skate punk classics from bands like Bad Religion and Pennywise while also having a Danzig-like charm. Josh MCcanna holds it down on bass and Mark Gohlmann is a solid ass drummer. I just finished their new single ‘Enough Of It’ along with the new music video which tackles the shit show of a year 2020 was. Stab in the Dark is currently in the studio recording a new LP!

Cadaver Pudding

Comedic Punk| Menifee, CA

Veterans of the southern CA punk rock scene, Cadaver consists of Nathan Justice who fronted the band Slow Children and Tom Kleve & Jon Bohn who play in the rad horror punk band The Order of the Fly. These dudes are hilarious on stage and simultaneously solid as hell. They can craft the most random topics into the tightest punk songs and they own it. Check out their latest release For Your Ears!

THE MFA

Punk/ Metal/ Ska punk| Portland

The MFA’s new record “Death Ska”! The record has so much god damn character as it aggressively splits genres from punk-metal-ska in the best ways. From straight thrash songs to sing a long beer drinking choruses, you’re going to love this record. Seriously. They’re currently in the studio working on their second LP!
